A large group of students gather in a spacious indoor area.

Hundreds of high school juniors and seniors from Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) will gather for the much-anticipated annual District College Fair, an event designed to connect students with representatives from colleges, universities, and military recruiters.

The fair will be held on Tuesday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Homefield KC, located at 9250 State Ave. in KCK.

This annual event brings together over 80 colleges, universities, and postsecondary partners from across the region and the nation. Students will have the opportunity to explore academic programs, financial aid options, scholarships, and campus life, while also learning more about post-secondary pathways and real-world opportunities aligned with their interests.

“Our goal is to ensure every student leaves with a clearer sense of what’s possible,” shared Assistant Director of Diploma+ Lisa Martinez. “For many of our students this is the moment they begin to see themselves on a college campus or in a pathway they’ve dreamed about. It’s a powerful day of discovery and confidence-building.”

All students who want to attend must contact their school's Success Center to register.
